| Got this to use in my 1999 chevy X-cab silverado truck and must say it was EASY to instal. Basically just pull out the factory radio and this thing slides right in and fits tight. A must have for a after market head unit. GOOD PRODUCT. |

To mount a 3.5" hard drive in a 5.25" (CD/DVD) bay, this is all you need...and the price is right. You may spend a few minutes trying to figure out which way is up with these guys, but install it as shown in the photo linked to this page, and you'll have no trouble. The *slots* go against the drive, and your screw driver goes through the large oval holes to tighten them down. Then there are 4 machine screw holes on the outer flange to let you mount everything to your case.
Screws are included...If you don't have nimble fingers, you'll probably end up frustrated trying to get them started. It goes without saying that you shouldn't succumb to the temptation to use a magnetic screw driver when installing a hard drive. |
